Epiphany Snow Message

The snow last Tuesday (Jan. 6) was an unwelcome and intrusive surprise, upending schedules and injecting hazards into routines. It was natural to focus on the challenges of the day and overlook the potential for grace. Yet on this Epiphany, a messenger (the mailman) brought a reminder of grace: a meditation from theologian Ole Hallesby, reprinted in a mission newsletter. Surely it was no coincidence that such a message would arrive on such a day:

As white snowflakes fall quietly and thickly on a winter day, answers to prayer will settle down upon you at every step you take, even to your dying day. The story of your life will be the story of prayer and answers to prayer.
