Moving Forward in Faith: Proposed Capital Projects for St. Michael’s

As announced at the Annual Meeting on Feb. 2, the Vestry-chartered Planning Committee has identified a number of capital projects with strong potential for enhancing St. Michael’s facilities and furthering our mission and ministries. These projects cover four major areas for improvement:

– Worship and Music

– Welcoming and Fellowship

– Education and Care for Children

– Stewardship of Our Buildings and Landscape

Feedback from parishioners is critical to helping the Vestry assess priorities and determine firm goals for the church’s capital improvements program. To learn more about the projects, click here to review the Capital Projects website; a brochure is also available in the Parish Hall.

I urge you to take the time to carefully consider these proposed initiatives, and to make the most of opportunities to discuss the plans with the Planning Committee leadership and fellow parishioners.

Please prayerfully respond to a confidential survey that will be distributed in the coming weeks, so that we know whether we have your full support. The results of this survey will help the Planning Committee and the Vestry to assess priorities and determine firm goals for the church’s capital improvements program.

Thank you for helping us move forward together in faith.

–Tim Matlack, Planning Committee Chair
